Planning Your Research in Abisko

There are several things that we would like you to do before you arrive at the Abisko Scientific Research Station (ANS).

• Get a profile page set up on this website (if you do not have one already). Click here to submit your researcher details.

• Get your project page(s) set up on our website (if you do not have one already). Click here and scroll to the bottom of the page to submit your project details.

• Will you need a field or lab assistant in Abisko? You can request field or lab support for a maximum of one week per month. The deadline for field season requests is Friday, 1 April. We will always be flexible for last-minute changes and updated needs.

• Find out more about the laboratory facilities at CIRC and ANS here.

• Find out about the instruments at the research station here.

• Check the availability of the CIRC bus here.

• Register your projects at ANS here (deadline 31 March each year).

• Book your accommodation, boat trips across the lake, and other facilities at ANS here.
